I love baking cookies, do you?...
...so I kept some of my favorite family recipes in the KITCHEN THERAPY section. But the cookies I’m talking about here are a little different. They are small files you can't see, stored on your device that help my website remember your preferences and make your experience here smoother and more personal.
So how do I use them?
To keep our digital space organized and functional, I use a few types of cookies:
The Essentials (Strictly Necessary): Just imagine these are like the foundation of a house. They are required for basic functions, such as logging into your account or posting a comment. Without them, the site simply wouldn't work properly.
Learning & Growing (Performance/Analytics): These cookies help me understand which articles you enjoy the most. It’s all anonymous data, but it’s very helpful for me to know if you prefer reading about cashmere care or mindset tips.
Making it Yours (Functional): These remember your settings so you don’t have to set them every time you visit.
Curated Connections (Marketing/Advertising): As I mentioned in my Terms, I only share what I truly love. I might use cookies to see if my partner recommendations are actually interesting to you. I never sell your data—period, so you can relax. ☺️
Partners and Your Privacy
When it comes to partner offers, I am very careful:
I might send you a promotion via email, but I never give partners access to your email address.
I only use partner tracking (like affiliate links) if you give me your explicit consent. It’s all about transparency.
You are in control
Your trust is more important to me than any data point.
Your Consent: When you first visit, a cookie banner will ask for your permission. You can say yes or no. I respect both.
Changes: You can change your settings or delete cookies through your browser at any time. Just keep in mind that blocking all cookies might make some parts of the blog act a little "grumpy" and not work perfectly.
Third-Party Cookies
Sometimes I use tools from others (like analytics or email providers) to help me run this blog more efficiently. These services have their own privacy rules, which I’ve carefully checked to make sure they treat you with respect.
